Travel with Google Maps in many countries

A recent article quoted from the portal site kompas.com July 14, 2011 reported that Google is developing a new map containing the traffic information on the main streets of European cities, with predictions based on traffic conditions updated every 5 to 10 minutes.

European countries which can be accessed such information are Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Spain and Switzerland.

Southeast Asian countries, including Indonesia has actually included in Google Maps that help users find an online geographic information such as maps, satellite imagery, guides driving directions, address and a list of companies, via PC and mobile phone was officially launched in October 2010.

As stated by the Head of Marketing Google Southeast Asia, Derek Callow search platform that can help Internet users find information related to a geographic travel sites, such as a sushi restaurant in Jakarta, the user can not only find the desired location, but also get information about the sushi restaurant.

Many facilities will be obtained by a tourist on a trip to search for and find the information somewhere, anytime and anywhere through maps.google.co.id address.

Ease in reaching the tourist sites would require devices that facilitate in reaching the location, because not all tourists follow the travel agents tour package who have been neat. There are also groups of tourists who travel individually/backpacker so they are more accustomed to using gadgets and smartphones as a tool.

Summer vacation was in sight, certainly hope Google develops features similar to the countries of travel destination, particularly tropical countries, because it will help tourists with information that it faces in the front while in a state tourist destination.
