Christmas lights decorate the Champs-Élysées

Ah, who can resist when Paris is still the most romantic city, and still be one of the most fascinating cities in the world. Cities with urban engineering puzzles, with each different architecture, but adheres to a common vision.

Look at the great scenery in the Champs-Élysées, no doubt. In the spirit of Christmas on November 21, 2012 an actress, Diane Kruger will lit the Christmas lights on the Champs Elysees, as well as a sign of the return of twinkling Christmas lights there, as quoted by AFP news agency.

Christmas Lights is a long tradition in the Champs-Élysées, when last year tried other ornaments, designed by Koert Vermeulen and Marco Vinals. Approximately 200 trees hung with three large colorful flowers, decorated with energy-saving lamps. But the effort was soon under heavy criticism from citizens of Paris.

Christmas fever is back in the neighborhood, after a survey conducted by IFOP - the trade association in the Champs-Élysées - say, a display though was an innovation, it is far from depicting the Christmas tradition.

Trade associations in the Champs-Élysées say, colorful flowers for every tree lights will be equipped with a series of seven meters, forming a curtain lights that dangle down along the famous boulevard in Paris.

Christmas is getting closer and the lights that save energy (supplied by solar panels) to be the theme in there, and the positive response of the Parisians into its own excitement in welcoming Christmas this year.
