Minahasa attract the tourists arrivals from Germany

Minahasa is another name of the North Sulawesi Province, the land also called “The Land of Minahasa” known with rows of coconut trees along the coast. Travelers arriving during the months of May and June, most of them are from Germany.

Similar delivered by the Head of the North Sulawesi Central Statistic Bureau, Faizal Anwar, in Manado, Tuesday, July 2, 2013, said that tourists from Germany are interested in visiting this region, and has increased 17.41 percent, compared with the same period, in the year previously.

"Besides the tourists from Germany, there are also from Asia, namely Singapore, America, Japan, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Australia and some European countries, Asia, and the Middle East," he said.

The city of Manado as its capital city and the region is able to attract tourist arrivals with its under water tourist sites, such as Bunaken Marine Park and other under water natural beauty, such as the exotic diving spots.

Bunaken Marine Park has been known so far with the beauty of the garden under the sea, coral reefs, and the attractions of Lembeh Island and the unique rare wildlife nocturnal “Tangkasi” (some locals call it Tangkoko) - smallest monkey in the world is only about 10-15 cm tall body, only in the port region of Bitung.
