Market demand can not be avoided, the need for increased international flight network, especially to Japan. It can not be ignored when Japan became an attractive destination for tourists and business people, so that is submitted by the airlines management at the beginning of September 2014.

Flight Jakarta - Nagoya planned to attend five times per week, using Airbus A330-200 with a seating capacity of 222 seats, consisting of 36 business class and 186 economy class.


Currently, Garuda serves 39 flights a week to Japan for the purpose, among others, the Jakarta-Osaka (Kansai Airport), Denpasar-Osaka, Tokyo-Jakarta, Denpasar-Tokyo (Narita Airport), Denpasar-Tokyo (Haneda Airport), and Jakarta-Tokyo (Haneda Airport).

Since the opening of visa-free opportunity to Japan for tourists from Indonesia, a new route to Japan will further enhance the relationship of travel between the two countries.
