Acts of terror in Barcelona has made many regions and countries within the region more alert, incidents that create insecurity and discomfort for tourists and locals alike. There is no other way but to take a number of steps to anticipate a similar event.

This was done by the Italian government that decided to install a number of roadblocks or road safety at famous tourist sites there as well as the placement of about 6,000 security officers on the streets.

Now you can see a number of major tourist sites in Milan, Rome, Bologna and Turin, for example, quoting an article on the sites CNN Indonesia on August 22, many things are noticed, for example, can be seen in a number of security equipment in the pedestrian area.

The other reviews on The Independent say that Italy is relatively safe from the terror that now struck a number of European countries; Italy has not suffered much from terror, but terrorists have repeatedly warned that the country is on their 'list'.

The fashion city of Milan, for example, has been on standby with a safety wall mounted on weekends on the road to tourist sites including the cathedral, also the road to Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, a stunning 19th-century shopping center.

Look at other cities in Italy, Bologna and Turin putting security tempos to separate vehicles and pedestrian areas over the weekend.

The security measures in Bologna were tightened around the Basilica of San Petronio, a church that has several masterpieces by the 15th-century artist Giovanni da Modena that portrays Prophet Mohammed being tortured by demons. It seems to be one of the 'targets' of jihadist terror action.

Palermo's city center has put up a new guarding rampart and the mayor of Florence is also thinking of the same plan, then in Genoa and Naples, the police patrol is increasing.

You can read the crowds in the Italian media on Sunday that this centralized blockade will protect the entrance to Via del Corso, a shopping street of Rome and Via dei Fori Imperiali, a street connecting Piazza Venezia and the Colosseum.

The anticipation step of the security blockade has reached the other end of Via della Conconciliaciozone, a main road to St. Peter's square.

As stated by the Minister of the Interior of Italy, Marco Minniti said related acts of terror at Las Ramblas and Cambrils, when a van can go smoothly towards the crowd of tourists.

"It's strange there is no extra security in crowded locations of tourists and housing."
