Holidays to the world-famous beaches are one of the destinations of many world travelers, wherever they go, choosing a holiday to the beach is a natural being one wishes. Without our consciousness it actually has logical and acceptable reason naturally.

You can listen to the gurgling sound of water that is slowly flowing, as written on the sites CNN Indonesia, today, it is believed to be peaceful, and people can feel something that is a relief.

Well, now you can understand why this can happen, because there is a scientific reason behind all this.

As expressed by a marine biologist and author of “Blue Mind” book of Wallace J. Nichols, that it is a common human instinct.

Humans have indeed reached the farthest point in the wanderings of the vast universe, exploring the planet Earth, following where the water flows, even through the ocean and then man paving the way for new discoveries, and changing human history.

The key words are water, rivers, oceans, and ultimately open the horizon of human knowledge. Water opens up many new thoughts, even now as a means of entertainment that became the need of modern humans.

Humans feel very close and comfortable when near the water, Nichols call it a blue mind. Blue mind becomes an opportunity to escape from excessive connection, excessive stress in modern life.

As acknowledged in previous research, that natural water has many advantages for the self, for example in the Victorian era, doctors prescribe 'seawater' as a cure for various problems, from complications to mental problems.

Sound amazing, isn’t it? But a study of a British project called "Blue Gym" found that people living in coastal areas were generally happier and healthier. Modern society does have many new ideas, they create their own 'water' environment in their homes, you can also see various sources of water, such as swimming pools, fish ponds, and others.

It was later acknowledged by Nichols in his interview on Condé Nast Traveler a few days ago.

"When you ask people to explain how they feel (when near water), it will be very difficult for them to explain rather than say they like it, need it, and are willing to pay dearly for it."
