Cannabis inside the food seems to be starting to be one of the tempting options of culinary lovers, especially those food creators. It is acknowledged in some countries in Southeast Asia, for most traditional local people it has been known since a long time ago, a mixture of marijuana in food, such as sauce in vegetables and soups and soup mixes are indeed more delicious.

Cannabis on the other hand gives a bad effect on one's health, meaning when abused. This is said by one of them, Jake Browne, a marijuana expert, said according to his experience.

"Impact is not good for physical, sensory, and psychological reactions, also on the paranoid level, the eagerness of eating to euphoria and lethargy."

Citing a review in detikFood, today, marijuana is increasingly popular in the food industry in America, so it should not be surprising if cannabis can become the next food trend.

Despite the widespread impact, a professor of food policy and distribution at Dalhousie University in Hailfax considers it necessary to regulate, solely to reduce the risks.

Similar opinion from Sylvain Charlebois, professor of agricultural faculty from Dalhousie University believes that this could trigger the next gluten-free phenomenon. And no one will reject the symptoms that occur later, many companies in the food industry became interested in marijuana.

It has been proven by a survey of Charlebois and Simon Somogyi later in Canada, over 45 percent of respondents say they are willing to buy cannabis-containing foods if their use has been legalized.

Do you know the risk that affects someone?

A senior scientist at Toronto's Center for Addiction and Mental Health, Dr. Benedict Fischer, quoting CBC News, September 26, provides an overview of the use of marijuana.

"Edible cannabis products do not result in the same thing as inhalation, but can cause more damage."

Exclusively edible cannabis products often contain THC, the psychoactive substance gives consumers a 'high' feeling. You certainly know when the various meals are served in grills, candy and butter, pizza, wine, also the chocolate made from marijuana.

It is generally known that excessive consumption of cannabis can lead to strong anxiety or a strong urge to sleep, as Dr. Patricia Daly, chief medical officer for Vancouver Coastal Health.

"Especially the impact on children, the consequences can be much more severe and can even interfere with breathing into coma."

A tough challenge for food creators, if they want to mix cannabis that can be consumed for the wider community, as long as through strict regulation. Said Ian Culbert, executive director of the Canadian Community Health Association.

"The consumption of cannabis-based foods with identifiable doses and portions, so it does not cause a bad thing."
